Political parties and supporters have also been very kind to those who fought for the Lok Sabha elections in the land of Ruhilkhand, which is very fertile for politics. Previous figures show that the candidates of BJP, SP and Congress on Bareilly, Amla and Badaun Lok Sabha seats are not worried about election expenses. They get more money in donations than their election expenses. In such a situation, even in the Lok Sabha elections with a maximum expenditure limit of Rs 70 lakh, most of the candidates did not have to spend even a single penny.

Santosh won the election with the money donated

Supporters donated generously to former Union Minister Santosh Gangwar, who was a candidate from Bareilly Lok Sabha seat in 2019. 161 people had donated Rs 43.57 lakh to him to contest the elections through check and other means. He was successful in registering victory by spending only Rs 37.55 lakh in the election campaign. It is believed that due to huge donations, no support amount would have been given to him by the party. Despite this, to become MP for the eighth time, he did not need to withdraw even a single rupee from his personal property.
